Football Injury Claims - Injured player - MulderrigsFrom our football injury claims team

Mr Hartnell was a tricky winger for an amateur team in Lancashire.

He suffered a broken leg when he was the victim of an “off the ball” challenge from an opposing defender during an evening match.

The referee got it horribly wrong and only issued a yellow card to the offender, even though the ball was yards away at the time of the challenge – there’s no doubt it should have been a straight red.

We agreed to fight our client’s case through the courts against the insurers for the offending player.

The insurers refused to accept responsibility for causing our client’s injury, so we took the case to trial at the county court, where the judge found in our client’s favour and he received over £20,000 in compensation for his injury and loss of earnings.
