Pedestrian Head injury – £1.4M settlement
Mr Trainer was crossing the road at a pelican crossing in Manchester when a careless driver knocked him down.
He suffered very serious head injuries.
Our client already had learning difficulties prior to the accident but these were made much worse as a result of the accident.
Mulderrigs took on Mr Trainer’s case against the careless driver.
We agreed to act on “no win no fee” terms.
All drivers have a duty to take care for the safety of pedestrians and this always looked like an “open and shut” case.
The insurers quickly admitted that the driver was to blame.
We obtained expert medical evidence about Mr Trainer’s injuries and then brought court proceedings against the careless driver.
The insurers then agreed to pay £1.4Million in compensation for his injuries.
